According to a contract released by the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) on December 9, 2020, Bell Boeing Joint Project Office, Amarillo, Texas, is awarded a $170,438,450 modification against a previously awarded, fixed-price-incentive-firm-target, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the production and delivery of one CMV-22B variation in quantity aircraft for the Navy and exercises options for V-22 Common Configuration Readiness and Modernization (CC-RAM) Lot 4 requirements.

According to news published by the Focus Taiwan website on December 11, 2020, Taiwanese Coast Guard took delivery of new of a new missile corvette and one patrol vessel during a ceremony in Kaohsiung. The new vessels are a 600-ton corvette named Anping and a 35-ton fast patrol boat. A ceremony was held on Friday, December 11, 2020, in the southern city of Kaohsiung to mark the deployment, with President Tsai Ing-wen attending.

The Perle nuclear attack submarine (SSN) left the Toulon naval base on Thursday, December 10, 2020 to be transported to Cherbourg-en-Cotentin, aboard the specialized semi-submersible charter vessel Roll Dock Storm. This large-scale operation is the first step in the repair process for the SSN Perle, after the fire suffered on June 12, in a dry dock in Toulon, when she was periodically unavailable for maintenance and repair.

BAE Systems has successfully completed planned systems maintenance and repair on HMCS Toronto, a Royal Canadian Navy ship, allowing the vessel to return to sea. The work was undertaken at the home of the Royal Navy at Portsmouth Naval Base, UK.

According to a statement published by the Royal Canadian Navy on December 7, 2020, the crew of the HMCS Harry DeWolf offshore patrol vessel of the Canadian navy has conducted at sea new training, testing, and trials on the new vessel. The work is part of a normal process to incrementally test Harry DeWolf and its systems, and as sailors gain experience with this first-of-class ship, they’re also making an immediate impact on RCN business, explains the ship’s commanding officer.

South African Company Milkor has completed sea trials with its MN Centurion, a new generation of high-speed interceptor craft, Milkor Business Development Director told Army Recognition. The development of the MN Centurion started in 2018 with the first testing taking place on the Vaal dam before first being showcased at AAD defense exhibition in September 2018.

According to a press release published on December 7, 2020, South African Company Paramount Maritime, a Paramount Group company, has successfully launched the second of three next-generation Survey Motor Boats (SMBs) for the South African Navy in a move that will enhance the capabilities and infrastructure of the South African Navy Hydrographic Office (SANHO). This follows the successful launch of the first Survey Motor Boat to the South African Navy during August 2020.
