According to information published by the Azerbaijani MoD on August 5, 2022, the Kazakhstan class missile boat Saryarka and military personnel of the Kazakh Navy arrived in Azerbaijan to participate in the "Sea Cup" contest to be held as part of the “International Army Games-2022” in the territorial waters of Azerbaijan in the Caspian Sea.

According to a PR published by Curtiss Wright on August 4, 2022, the firm announced that it has been awarded contracts valued in excess of $220 million to provide propulsion valves, pumps, and advanced instrumentation and control systems for the U.S. Navy’s Virginia-class nuclear-powered attack submarine, Columbia-class submarine, and Ford-class aircraft carrier programs.

According to a PR published by Kraken Technology Group on August 4, 2022, the British maritime technology company announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Thales for the ongoing development and provision of bespoke systems for the Kraken K50 maritime precision engagement platform.
