With a displacement of 2,888 tons, equivalent to 2,842 long tons, the vessel offers both size and agility. Measuring 108.8 meters in length, it balances a substantial beam of 14.8 meters and a draught of 4.05 meters, highlighting its design precision.

Powering this ship are 2 MTU 16V 595 TE90 engines and an additional General Electric LM2500. Together, they operate on a CODAG propulsion system, enabling the ship to achieve speeds between 27 and 31 knots.

Such propulsion grants the vessel an impressive range of 3,500 nautical miles or around 6,500 km, ensuring it can remain in operation for up to 15 days without requiring immediate resupply.

Beyond its structural and propulsion features, the Babur class stands equipped with a sophisticated array of sensors and processing systems. The onboard HAVELSAN GENESİS ADVENT Combat Management System facilitates streamlined operations.

A suite of radars from Aselsan and Northrop Grumman provides surveillance and targeting capabilities, ensuring the vessel is always alert to its surroundings. The addition of the Meteksan YAKAMOS hull-mounted sonar further enhances its detection capabilities, especially for potential underwater threats.

The vessel's armament is varied, suited for different warfare scenarios. This includes the Albatross NG surface-to-air missiles for aerial threats, P-282 Hypersonic anti-ship missiles for surface combat, and lightweight torpedo tubes designed for anti-submarine warfare. Close combat readiness is ensured with the inclusion of the OTO Melara 76 mm naval gun and Aselsan weapon stations.
