Work covers the full-rate production of AN/SLQ-32(V)6, AN/SLQ-32A(V)6 and AN/SLQ-32C(V)6 configurations through the service branch's Surface Electronic Warfare Improvement Program, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.

Naval Sea Systems Command received two offers for the firm-fixed-price contract via a solicitation on FedBizOpps and will obligate $185M at the time of the award.

The base period of performance is scheduled to conclude by April 2022 and work could extend through September 2026 if all options are exercised.

AN/SLQ-32(V)6 is the latest deployed variant of the system and equipped with an updated receiver, antenna and combat systems that were developed under the Navy's SEWIP Block 2 Acquisition Category II initiative

The modernization project will add a resulting high-gain, high-sensitivity sensor technology from the SEWIP Block 1B3 ACAT II program to the system.
