Russian company Concern Morinformsystem-Agat conducts test of its Club-K container Missile System
 
Russian Company Concern Morinformsystem-Agat JSC reported it conducted tests with its Club-K Club-K Container Missile System on August 22nd.

According to the press release, the missiles being test fired were KH-35UE anti-ship missiles.

Concern Morinformsystem-Agat JSC also announced that similar tests of the system was being conducted with 3M-54E and 3M-14E missiles.

Club-K Container Missile System is designed to hit surface and land targets with various missiles. Club-K Missile System can be installed on coastal positions, surface ships and vessels of different classes, railway and semi-truck platforms. The System is housed in a 40-feet standard marine container. Functionally Club-K Missile System consists of a Universal Launching Module (ULM), a Combat Management Module (CMM) and an Energy-Supply and Life-Support Module (ES&LSM).

The KH-35U is a subsonic anti-ship missile capable of hitting targets at ranges up to 120 kilometers at any time and under any weather conditions.

According to Almaz Antey Concern, 3M-54E missiles are designed to destroy adversary surface ships of various type (either single or within a group) in conditions of deliberate countermeasures. 3M-14E are designed to destroy stationary land targets in enemy territory (ammunition and fuel depots, army command posts, seaports infrastructures, airfield etc.). 3M-54E and 3M-14E missiles have a range in excess of 200 km, they are capable of sea-skimming flight (4.6 m alitutde) with supersonic terminal speed at final stage (2.9 mach).
