NAVDEX 2023: Milkor's Inshore Patrol Craft conducts live demonstration


Milkor's Inshore Patrol Craft participated in the NAVDEX dynamic demonstration in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Although South African in origin, the company also has a presence in the Emirates.

The Milkor Inshore Patrol Craft is a highly capable vessel designed for long-endurance missions. Its unique cameraman hull design enhances speed, fuel efficiency, and stability, allowing for consistent mission success. The vessel provides a comfortable mission environment with features such as a full gallery, shower, head, and three sleeping berths for its crew.

The command-and-control bridge integrates world-class communications and surveillance systems, with a fully equipped pilot, navigation, weapon, and surveillance station. The wheelhouse is designed with modularity to accommodate various payloads and technologies to meet customer requirements.

The Milkor IPC is built using composite GRP materials with integrated strengthening methods to support various payload options such as remote-control weapon stations, missile launchers, and other surveillance payloads.

The vessel has a length of 12 meters, a beam of 4.8 meters, and a displacement of 13,000 kg. It can reach a top speed of 50 knots and has a crew capacity of four sailors.
