The HQ-10 is an octuple launcher fitted aft on Type 056 corvettes. The missile itself is said to feature a combined guidance system that incorporates both passive radio frequency (RF) guidance and imaging infrared (ImIR) guidance. The export designation of the system is FL-3000N.

The PLAN Corvette Quanzhou (hull number 588) was commissioned with the PLAN's East Sea Fleet in August 2014.

In the video, we can see the crew being scrambled to "action stations" or "general quarters" (0:30), the corvette in heavy seas (0:50), the HQ-10 operator (0:55) and the actual HQ-10 launch (0:59). In addition, there is a target drone launched from the helicopter platform (1:09), live fire with the H/PJ-26 76mm main gun (1:14) and H/PJ-17 30mm gun system (2:00) and a torpedo launch (2:07).
