"The proportion of modern military hardware and training systems in service [with the VUNTs VMF] will have reached some 90% by the end of the year," said Kasatonov.

According to the Admiral, the center is introducing new training assets that allow the cadets to practice command and control over the Navy`s combined arms task forces. "We have recently adopted the Automatism tactical training system that integrates some 200 automated workseats into a single network. Thus, both cadets and Navy`s officers will be able to train their skills to conduct modern [naval] operations," said Kasatonov.
