The crew of the Harold Miller will have a patrol area encompassing 900 miles of coastline for the Coast Guard’s Eighth District, from Carrabelle, Florida, to Brownsville, Texas.

According to information published by the British Air Force on July 13, 2020, the British Royal Air Force's newest anti-submarine aircraft P-8 POSEIDON MRA1 has participated in a multi-national NATO training exercise for the first time since arriving in the UK in February 2020. The Boeing P-8 is truly a multi-mission maritime patrol aircraft, excelling at anti-submarine warfare; anti-surface warfare; intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance and search and rescue.
