Navy Forces Naval Maritime Defense Security Industry


According to information published by the U.S. Department of Defense on November 30, 2021, ERAPSCO, Columbia City, Indiana (P00012); and Lockheed Martin Corp., Manassas, Virginia (P00016), are awarded firm-fixed-price modifications for the production and delivery of up to 18,000 AN/SSQ-125A series production sonobuoys for the Navy.

According to a press release published by iXblue on December 7, 2021, the Hydrographic Office of the Polish Navy has purchased iXblue DriX Uncrewed Surface Vehicle (USV) through the company’s local partner THESTA. The USV will be advancing the Polish Navy's hydrographic capabilities.

According to information published by the Ministry of Defense of Singapore on December 2, 2021, the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN)'s Victory-class missile corvette RSS Vigour is participating in the ASEAN-Russia Naval Exercise from 1 to 3 December 2021. The exercise is being conducted off Sabang, Indonesia, and involves eight ships and observers from the ASEAN Member States and Russia.

According to information published by the Indian Ministry of Defence on December 5, 2021, Sandhayak, the first of the four Survey Vessels (Large) project being built for the Indian Navy, was launched in Kolkata on December 05, 2021. These vessels have been designed and developed by Defence Public Sector Undertaking, Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers (GRSE) Limited, which is among the leading warship building companies in India.
