Liaoning is a Chinese Type 001 aircraft carrier. The ship was rebuilt and commissioned into the People's Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) as Liaoning on 25 September 2012. Its Chinese ship class designation is Type 001.
It is conventionally powered, has an estimated full load displacement of 60,000 to 66,000 tons, and reportedly can accommodate 36 aircraft including 24 Shenyang J-15 fighters, six Changhe Z-18F anti-submarine warfare (ASW) helicopters, four Changhe Z-18J airborne early warning helicopters, and two Harbin Z-9C rescue helicopters.
The Type 055 large destroyer (Renhai-class cruiser) is a class of stealth-guided missile destroyers being constructed for the Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy. It is a multi-mission design; the combination of sensors and weapons suggests the main role of area air defense, with anti-submarine warfare capabilities surpassing previous Chinese surface combatants.

The Type 054A (Jiangkai II) frigate is a class of Chinese multi-role frigates, the first of which entered service with the People's Liberation Army Navy Surface Force in 2007. It is a development of the Type 054 frigate, using the same hull but with improved sensors and weapons.
The Type 054A is 140 meters long with a displacement of 4,000 tonnes full load. The ship has a range of over 4,000 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 18 knots.
The Type 901 (Fuyu-class, also known as Hulunhu-class) is a class of fast combat support ships of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy. Type 901 is estimated to have a 45,000-ton displacement and a beam of 31.5 meters. The ship is powered by four QC280 gas turbines, each delivering 28 MW, for a maximum speed of about 25 knots.
