New pictures released of Chinese Type 075 LHD Guangxi


According to a tweet published by louischeung_hk on November 25, 2021, the People's Liberation Army Navy's second Type 075 Landing Helicopter Dock Guangxi (32) arrived at a military port in the East China Sea. The ship is scheduled to enter service very soon.

The Type 075 landing helicopter dock (Yushen-class landing helicopter assault) is a class of Chinese amphibious assault ship under construction by the Hudong–Zhonghua Shipbuilding company for the People's Liberation Army Navy (PLAN).

It has a full-length flight deck for helicopter operations and features a floodable well deck from which to disembark hovercraft and armored amphibious assault vehicles.

The LHD will have a displacement of 36,000 tons, a capacity of 30 helicopters, diesel engine with the 9,000 kW 16PC2-6B and four CIWS including two HHQ-10 and two H/PJ-11.

The HQ-10 is a short-range surface-to-air missile designed by China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC), currently in service as a point defense missile system aboard PLA Navy warships.
