According to a tweet published by the French Navy on January 28, 2022, the Royal Moroccan Navy Sigma-class frigate Sultan Moulay Ismael makes a port call in Toulon, South of France.

Structural dimensions of Sigma 109813 include a running length of 99.91 m, a breadth of 14,02 m, and a draught of 3,75 m. Displacement reaches 2,075 tons depending on overall configuration. The ships can serve a crew of up to 91 personnel.

Sensors include the Thales SMART-S Mk.2 3D Surveillance Radar, THALES LIROD Mk.2 3D Radar/Optronic Director, and THALES KINGKLIP hull-mounted sonar. An ESM (THALES VIGILE 100), ECM (THALES SCORPION), and decoy (TERMA SKWS) suite are all part of the ship's makeup.

Armament includes the Oto Melara 76/62 Super Rapid, MBDA MICA vertical launch SAM, MBDA Exocet MM40 SSM, and two B515 launchers for EuroTorp A244/S Mod.3.

Maximum speed in ideal conditions reaches 28 knots though cruising is generally at 18 knots. Range is out to 4,000 miles.
