This highly capable and swift vanguard ship was meticulously designed by ADSB in the UAE. The announcement took place at the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA 2023), currently being held in Malaysia until May 27th.

The dynamic multi-domain vessel, tailored for a variety of coastal missions, boasts an array of impressive features. These include a helicopter deck and hangar, the ability to accommodate unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) operations, two rigid hull inflatable boats, advanced combat systems, electronic warfare (EW) capabilities, and a comprehensive selection of countermeasures.

Equipped with stealth technology and ballistic protection, the Corvette delivers exceptional surveillance and security capabilities across the air, surface, and EW domains in near-shore environments.

Powered by combined diesel and diesel (CODAD) engines, this vessel attains an impressive top speed of 28 knots and showcases an endurance of over 4,500 nautical miles at cruising speed.

As a reminder, ADSB has entered into a significant EUR 1 billion contract milestone. This contract entails the construction of a fleet of top-tier 71-meter corvettes for the Angolan Navy.
