The Exail's R7 Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) is a tool designed to seamlessly blend compactness, ease of deployment of mini-ROVs with the performance, speed, and payload capacity of professional observation-class ROVs.

This unique combination makes it highly attractive for oceanographers, hydrographers, fish farmers, and operators of submerged structures. Designed for maximum utility, the R7 excels in a wide array of underwater missions, ranging from inspections and surveillance to maintenance and object recovery, all up to a depth of 300m.

Incorporating the latest in digital technology, the R7 delivers some of the highest-quality images available on the market. The digital architecture of the R7 supports a plug-and-play connection of payloads, making the ROV easily scalable. Not to be outdone, the R7 also boasts a highly intuitive Human Machine Interface, ensuring ease of use and superior ergonomics.

The addition of a multi-function manipulator arm makes the R7 incredibly maneuverable, and capable of handling or recovering objects up to 2kg with ease. Its man-portable design, professional-grade robustness, and straightforward deployment add to its appeal. When it comes to serviceability, the R7 does not disappoint with its easy-to-maintain design.

In the realms of defense and security, the R7 finds a host of applications, from subsea observation, inspection, and surveillance to object recovery, wreck inspection, and search and rescue missions.

Furthermore, it is an excellent choice for tasks such as black box recovery, harbor surveillance, coastal and seabed surveys, offshore platform protection, and overall coastal protection.
