BlueBear, which specializes in AI-driven autonomous swarm systems for defense and security applications, recorded a turnover of £8 million in 2022. The firm has a workforce of 65, located outside Bedford, England.

This acquisition is part of Saab's strategic expansion plan in key markets, including the UK, Australia, the US, and Germany. With the addition of BlueBear's expertise in AI-based autonomous swarming and command and control systems, Saab aims to enhance its current global offerings.
