The state-of-the-art TRS-3D Baseline D, known as AN/SPS-75 in the US, incorporates gallium nitride (GaN) and solid-state emitter technology. This integration not only ensures the signature robust performance of the TRS-3D but also bolsters its reliability, paving the way for potential enhancements.

Since the beginning of the NSC program, every cutter has been fitted with HENSOLDT's TRS-3D radars. Renowned for its three-dimensional, multi-modal functionality, the radar excels in air and surface surveillance, target acquisition, self-defense mechanisms, gunfire support, and aircraft control. Its automation capabilities significantly reduce manual tracking, offering a significant advantage by lightening the crew's workload.

 About the naval radar

Functioning within the C band spectrum, the TRS-3D is a multi-mode phased array radar. Its specialty lies in its capability for automatic detection, track initiation, and classification of diverse targets, particularly in the cluttered environments of littoral zones.

It possesses a keen ability to monitor small, rapidly moving, and low-altitude aircraft, missiles, and hovering helicopters, among other asymmetric threats.

The TRS-3D facilitates both 3D air volume surveillance with quick target alerts and surface surveillance of high resolution. Its intrinsic design aids in providing target designation to Combat Management Systems for both Anti-Air Warfare and Anti-Surface Warfare.

Additionally, it offers support in surface gunfire, helicopter approaches, and controls while also boasting advanced Electronic Counter-Countermeasures functions.

The radar's resilience against electronic disturbances is noteworthy, with effective jammer and environmental clutter suppression. This system's compatibility with diverse combat management systems underscores its adaptability.
