On March 5th, in Rio de Janeiro, Emgepron, an independent state company, linked to the Ministry of Defense through the Brazilian Navy Command, and Águas Azuis, a company created by ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems, Embraer Defense & Security and Atech, signed the contract for building four state-of-the-art Tamandaré Class Ships, with deliveries scheduled between 2025 and 2028.

Two recently commissioned warships of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Navy including a Type 052D destroyer and a Type 054A frigate are now ready to do battle after passing an all-subject training examination, the Navy announced on Wednesday, as experts said the service has done well in its sailor training program while receiving more and more warships.

From February 24th to March 6th, the Dynamic Manta manoeuvre will take place in the Mediterranean. The German Navy is participating in the large submarine hunting exercise of the NATO North Atlantic Treaty Organization with one of its sea reconnaissance aircraft Orion.

BAE Systems Inc. was awarded a five-year $188.2 million contract to provide the U.S. Navy’s AEGIS Technical Representative (AEGIS TECHREP) organization with critical large-scale system engineering, integration, and testing expertise for the AEGIS Weapons and Combat Systems aboard U.S. Navy surface combatant ships.

On 3 March 2020, the F125 Baden-Württemberg-class frigate NORDRHEIN-WESTFALEN was handed over by the ARGE F125 consortium to the Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support (BAAINBw). Following the delivery, the "complete prerequisites for the operability of the ship" will be provided by the Navy and the future crew will receive further training on board.
