Rafael’s advanced solutions provide naval forces with defence superiority against a wide range of modern naval threats, including naval area defence, swarm attack defence, and torpedo defence. These applications integrate the groundbreaking combat-proven technologies found in Rafael systems across a multitude of domains. Rafael has decades of unique operational experience in the design, production, integration, commissioning and supporting of naval domain technologies and solutions, as well as vast experience acquired through major naval projects with leading OEM's and customers all around the world.
Rafael’s specialized portfolio of naval systems enables a wide range of deployment combinations to include components of its layered defence suite. This offers clients unrivaled flexibility and adaptability in order to best tackle current and future threats as well as to meet their individual requirements and needs.

Rafael’s multi-disciplinary, multi-layer responses to threats across the naval arena are exemplified through the following systems: the Typhoon Mk-30C (which is a stabilized & remotely operated weapon system for surface and aerial targets), the C-DOME (which is a naval area defense system, the maritime application of the Iron Dome Anti-missile system), the SEWS DV & C-GEM (which are naval electronic warfare defense systems), the TOPLITE MHD (which is a highly stabilized multi-spectral HD sensor, multi-purpose electro-optic Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance, and targeting system), the SEA SPOTTER (which is a naval infra-red stabilized stare & track system), the PROTECTOR USV (which is a USV for security and naval missions), the SHADE (which is a comprehensive torpedo defense solution for submarines), the ATDS (which is a torpedo defense solution for surface ships), and the TORBUSTER (which combines soft kill and hard kill torpedo decoys).

During a meeting with Rafael, the company told Navy Recognition that it was very proud of the combat-proven efficiency of its products, already in use in several navies (including the Israeli one) all around the world, and that it was seeking to extend its activities in South Asia, and in particular in Singapore, explaining why the company was exhibiting at IMDEX Asia 2019, in Changi, Singapore.
