Raytheon Company's Missile Systems Business and Abu Dhabi Ship Building (ADSB) are entering the tenth year of a partnership that began in 2006, when the two companies began integrating Rolling Airframe Missiles onto the UAE's Baynunah class corvette.
     
Raytheon Company's Missile Systems Business and Abu Dhabi Ship Building (ADSB) are entering the tenth year of a partnership that began in 2006, when the two companies began integrating Rolling Airframe Missiles onto the UAE's Baynunah class of ships.
Raytheon has partnered with Abu Dhabi Ship Building for nearly a decade to integrate Rolling Airframe Missiles, Evolved Seasparrow Missiles and launchers onto the UAE Navy's Baynunah class of corvette ships. UAE Navy Corvette Baynunah at NAVDEX 2013
     
"Raytheon and Abu Dhabi Ship Building have worked hand-in-hand to ensure the UAE navy is equipped with the world's most advanced ship self-defense capability," said Rick Nelson, Raytheon Missile Systems vice present of Naval Air and Mission Defense. "Our productive relationship continues to underscore a strong mutual commitment to UAE customers, and exemplifies how Raytheon partners globally."

Raytheon teams with ADSB to integrate Rolling Airframe Missiles and launchers, as well as Evolved SeaSparrow Missiles, onto the UAE's Baynunah-class corvettes and other ships. "Our relationship with Raytheon has grown stronger over time," said Dr. Khaled Al Mazrouei, Abu Dhabi Ship Building CEO. "We work closely with Raytheon to provide the right products and solutions to support the UAE navy."
