General Dynamics Mission Systems displayed its Bluefin-12 lightweight medium-class unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV) for the first time at the 2019 Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEI) exhibition in London.
An autonomous boat worked alongside a Royal Navy warship, transmitting imagery from the vessel to the ship for the first time during a series of demonstrations at DSEI 2019, London.
Alongside the visiting warships, DSEI’s dynamic waterborne demonstrations are a visitor favourite and a visual highlight of the event. The demonstrations take place daily on the Victoria Dock, and best viewed from the grandstand on the dock edge next to the East Terrace at the eastern end of ExCeL.
DSEI can announce the lineup of international visiting warships as the exhibition celebrates its 20th Anniversary at DSEI 2019. For four days the outside area of ExCel resembled a great naval shipyard rather than an exhibition centre.
The new high-performance interceptor armored boat "Triton 850 RIB" of Streit Group will participate in waterborne demonstrations during the international defense exhibition (DSEI) which takes place in London, United Kingdom, from September 10 to 13, 2019.
DSEI holds an unrivaled naval heritage, ranging from warship displays to showcasing the most cutting-edge maritime electronic technology. In addition to these impressive displays, the Royal Navy will use DSEI 2019 to host its Maritime Capability Conference, focusing on the opportunities and capabilities for modernization and transformation in a fast-changing and increasingly digital world.
