The AHM 11 USV, an 11m vessel, is the new size addition to the fleet of Al Marakeb Manufacturing Boats. It was for the first time on display at NAVDEX 2019, UAE, as the product of collaboration with boat builder Al Hareb Marine.

At NAVDEX 2019, in the United Arab Emirates, Canada-based Current Scientific Corporation has showcased its new Night Navigator 2000 series and Night Navigator 6000 series. Current is a company specialised in the designing and the building of Night Navigator Electro-Optical Systems. Though, the company doesn't build the sensors that are integrated into its systems.

At NAVDEX 2019, the company Aquabotix presented its SwarmDivers for the first time. These micro-sized, unmanned surface vessels (USVs) are capable of diving and swarming. Such vehicles are designed to support various missions and can be operated in shallow water.

ECA GROUP, in collaboration with its naval architecture subsidiary MAURIC, integrates a new USV – (Unmanned Surface Vehicle) into its range of naval drones systems. The new INSPECTOR 125, based on an operational platform, is designed for high seas operations.

Rheinmetall is showcasing two variants of its tried-and-tested decoy launcher system (i.e. the MASS) : the MASS_OCR with off-board corner reflector and the new standalone version MASS_ISS with Integrated Sensor Suite for units that lack an independent capability for detecting laser and radar threats.

No matter what the mission – surveillance operations on the high seas, fighting piracy in shipping lanes or supporting amphibious landings in littoral zones – naval units have to be able to defend themselves against a multitude of threats around the globe. Rheinmetall offers a solution here : the stabilized, remotely controlled Oerlikon Searanger 20 maritime weapon station, teamed with the company’s new SAPPIE-T ammunition. Both are on display at IDEX 2019 at the Rheinmetall stand.

At Navdex 2019, MBDA is presenting the SPIMM (Self-Protection Integrated Mistral Module), an all-in-one air defence module based on the SIMBAD-RC system and designed to equip ships of all types, particularly those without a combat system (such as supply ships).

Vigor, the builder of the US Navy’s Combatant Craft Medium (CCM) and Combatant Craft Heavy (CCH) as well as the United States Coast Guard Response Boat – Medium (RB-M) will feature its new 21 meter patrol boat, the Vigor Fast Inceptor (VFI) at NAVDEX 2019.

The next edition of NAVDEX 2019, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, will witness a record number of international and local participant companies specialised in the maritime defence industry.
