According to sources in the Ukrainian special services, the drone is currently being studied and reprogrammed under laboratory conditions by the Russian military. The Russian Federation's effort to restore the Ukrainian SeaBaby unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) has led to the assembly of a functional prototype.

This reconstructed drone has been transferred to the 388th Special Purpose Marine Intelligence Point of the Russian Federation's Black Sea Fleet.

Ukrainian Special services indicate that Russia is conducting a thorough examination and reprogramming of the drone, with the intention of using it for future attacks against Ukrainian military targets.

SeaBaby

In August, Vasyl Malyuk, the head of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), revealed that Ukrainian forces used a drone called "SeaBaby" for an attack on the Crimean Bridge on July 17. This drone, developed over many months, is equipped with an 850 kg warhead.

These maritime UAVs are a unique invention of the SBU, developed independently without the participation of private companies. The production of these drones is carried out in Ukraine at one of the underground factories.

The Ukrainian Navy possesses a special purpose brigade equipped with maritime strike drones, indicating that each drone attack is the result of coordinated efforts by various components of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
