Navy Forces Naval Maritime Defense Security Industry


According to information published by the US Navy on November 16, 2022, sailors assigned to the first-in-class aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) and the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Thomas Hudner (DDG 116) arrived in Portsmouth, U.K. for a scheduled port visit.

According to information published by the Indian government on November 15, 2022, the third edition of the ‘Pan-India’ Coastal Defence Exercise ‘Sea Vigil-22’ will be conducted on 15-16 Nov 22. This National Level Coastal Defence Exercise was conceptualised in 2018 to validate various measures that have been instituted towards enhancing maritime security.

According to information published by the Finnish MoD on November 15, 2022, the autumn’s main exercise Freezing Winds 22 to be led by the Finnish Navy will take place from 22 November to 2 December 2022. Troops from the Finnish Navy, Army and Air Force as well as a great number of international partners will take part in this international naval exercise.

China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition (Airshow China) is the only international aerospace trade show approved by the Chinese central government, with support from Chinese aerospace industries. On the occasion, China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation is displaying its ET80 anti-submarine torpedo.
